Accessibility Statement

Our Goal

Hevan aims to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We have not had the site formally audited, and we do not claim that it conforms to those guidelines.

We want every reader to be able to use the site. This page explains what we try to do and where our control ends.

What We Try to Do

  • Readable text: plain words, short sentences and clear headings.
  • Image descriptions: alt text on images so screen readers can describe them.
  • Keyboard use: pages that can be used without a mouse.
  • Clear link text: links that say where they lead, not just “click here.”
  • Good contrast: text that stands out from its background.

Known Limits

Hevan links to store pages, mostly on Amazon, and some pages may include embedded content. These belong to other companies, and we cannot change how accessible they are.

Because we have not been audited, some pages on our own site may still fall short of these goals.

Report a Barrier

If you find something on Hevan that is hard to use, please email contact@hevan.net. Tell us the page address, what got in the way and, if you can, what device or assistive tool you were using.

We take these reports seriously, and we use them to improve the site. You can also read more about the site on our About Us page or find other ways to reach us on the Contact Us page.
